Karen Beyea-Schroeder has about two decades of diverse experience in the practice of law and has always focused her career on helping those in need.  Karen’s practice focuses on mass torts, including pharmaceutical, medical device, and toxic torts.

Karen has represented thousands of clients in pharmaceutical cases nationwide, such as Trasylol, Hip Implants, Knee Implants, Testosterone Replacement Therapy, Levaquin, Avelox, and Cipro. She has also represented hundreds of former NFL players in the NFL concussion litigation.  Karen currently fights for our clients suffering from dangerous drugs and devices such as hernia mesh, transvaginal mesh (TVM), IVC Filters, Zofran and Essure.  Similarly, Karen is working with victims exposed to Roundup and hundreds of clients harmed by GM’s ignition switch recalled vehicles.

Ms. Beyea-Schroeder has also been honored to receive court appointments to represent victims.  In the past, Karen has worked on the national investigation teams for Trasylol, Zimmer Knee and Testosterone Replacement Therapy.  Currently, Karen has been appointed to help women who were prescribed Vaginal Mesh products by serving as the co-lead of MDL 2511 In Re: Neomedic litigations, where she works to lead the national investigation on behalf of the thousands of people injured.  Karen also works on the Plaintiff Steering Committees for MDL 2187 In Re: C.R. Bard, Inc., MDL 2327 In Re: Ethicon, Inc., MDL 2325 In Re: American Medical Systems, MDL 2326 In Re: Boston Scientific Corp., and MDL 2782 In Re: Ethicon Physiomesh Flexible Composite Hernia Mesh as well as JCCP 4887 the California Coordination for the Essure Litigation, where she also works on the national investigation against these pharmaceutical device manufacturers.

Karen’s peers have routinely recognized her as one of the top rated trial lawyers, and she is a member of the American Association for Justice, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Houston Bar Association, and Women En Mass.
