Our Steering Committee of seven Texas female lawyers wanted something new.

We have all attended educational CLE’s and even legal industry women’s events. We felt that a void existed that needed to be filled: to provide female lawyers of all career stages an unaffiliated, independent group within which to explore how gender affects their careers and to find mentors, friends, and more. We do not seek to replace the standard car wrecks or ethics CLE’s provided by existing legal associations. We do not seek to compete with any existing groups. We want to bring female trial lawyers from across Texas together at least once a year to focus on our goals.

Collectively we have achieved top-level multi-district litigation appointments, managed meshothelioma dockets worth hundreds of millions of dollars, developed marketing strategies to increase law firm profits, spoken across the country, been published in most trial lawyer industry publications, become partners in some of the most exceptional Texas plaintiffs’ firms, been elected to lead local trial lawyer associations, been appointed to serve on national trial lawyer committees, lobbied for change in Washington, D.C., completed hundreds of continuing education hours, been licensed to practice in multiple states and courts, been selected as Texas Rising Stars and Texas Super Lawyers, and more.

We want all up-and-coming female lawyers to achieve what we have, what our speakers have, and more. We aim to provide a forum within which we can support each other to reach new heights in the legal profession without asking for donations, membership fees, or dealing with politics.
