Elleni Carrillo

Guerra LLP

Elleni Aimee Carrillo is a proud South Texas native whose journey in law is shaped by her deep roots in a rural ranching community and a family legacy of legal service. From a young age, Elleni learned resilience and integrity working alongside her family in the cattle business—values that define her approach to the law.

She earned both a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in Public Administration from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, where her dedication to service extended beyond the classroom. As a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for the Coastal Bend, Elleni championed the rights and well-being of vulnerable children in the foster care system—a calling that ignited her passion to pursue a legal career focused on helping those in need. Her devotion to community service deepened during the South Texas freeze of 2021, when she volunteered as a shelter monitor to provide aid and comfort to those without homes, and through countless hours supporting nonprofit organizations while studying at St. Mary’s University School of Law.

Elleni’s professional experience includes serving for five years as a paralegal at her father’s firm, Carrillo Law Office, where she witnessed firsthand the transformative role attorneys play in clients’ lives. She further honed her legal skills clerking for the Honorable Baldemar Garza at the 229th Judicial District Court, gaining significant insight into the judicial process. Elleni’s deep community roots inspire her to serve with dedication and compassion, always striving to make her corner of the world a better place.

Following in her ancestors’ footsteps, Elleni is committed to carrying forward her family's legacy of legal leadership in South Texas. At Guerra LLP, she pairs her resilient work ethic, rich educational background, and unwavering dedication to community service to advocate for those facing adversity. Approaching each challenge with empathy, determination, and a steadfast belief in the power of the law, Elleni strives to help others through life’s toughest moments, making a meaningful difference in her community.
