Dominique Bartholet is a full-time, 100% neutral mediator, arbitrator, and neutral case evaluator based in Houston, Texas. A fluent Spanish speaker and native of Colombia, South America, she has the ability to conduct mediations entirely in Spanish, helping ensure that all parties can fully participate in the mediation process with confidence and clarity.

Before founding Bartholet Mediation, Dominique practiced as a civil trial attorney for more than 20 years, representing clients in complex litigation throughout Texas. Her experience includes personal injury, 18-wheeler and commercial transportation accidents, medical malpractice, wrongful death, products liability, premises liability, construction, commercial, real estate, insurance, and business disputes. Having litigated thousands of cases from filing through trial and appeal, she brings practical insight and credibility to every mediation.

Dominique is a Member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN) and a Credentialed Distinguished Mediator through the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association. She is committed to ongoing professional development and has completed advanced mediation and negotiation training at Harvard Law School and the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, including Mediating the Litigated Case.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and her Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law.

Dominique’s mediation philosophy is straightforward: remain completely neutral, ensure every party is heard, foster productive communication, and help participants reach informed, practical, and lasting resolutions. Her ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish, combined with decades of litigation experience, allows her to effectively mediate a wide range of complex disputes.

Dominique offers mediation services throughout Texas in person and via Zoom.
